What a century ago was the farm’s chicken coop has now been transformed into the romantic **Eva** room—traces of its past remain, as the bathroom still shows the holes in the wall where hens once nested. Through the original masonry door, Eva opens onto the feeding trough area, once used to water the animals, now transformed into a charming relaxation space with an elegant pink sofa.
At the center of the sleeping area, beneath the vaulted ceiling, stands the stunning “I Dreamed of You” bed by designer Katrine Ahrens, dressed in lilac Signoria Firenze linens. The décor also features a wooden wardrobe by Ahrens and a curated mix of vintage and contemporary furniture. The bathroom, carved into the stone masonry wall, includes a luxurious double shower, making this intimate room the perfect retreat for a couple.

“The name Eva is taken from a novella by Verga published in 1873, which tells the story of a young struggling painter who arrives in Sicily from Florence seeking his fortune. The novel follows his love story with the enchanting ballerina Eva, whom he meets at a masked ball, and his journey from rags to riches and back.”
